It was the protector that threw me off... I love the watch and I'm happy it's real... You've got a wrist that wears it well...

That looks really good. Too bad rolex doesn't offer a rubber option.

I know what you mean about the bracelet tapering too much. It almost looks silly compared to the Breitlings you own. But I hear it's really comfortable as a result.

So you'll have a watch with the Rolex logo, and a strap with a Breitling logo. The world's first Rolling, perhaps? Or maybe Breitlex.

That's the reason I don't wear my PO on my breitling Croc. It looks sweet as hell but the logo thing bugs me.

Fear, great looking watch man. I'm a big fan of the deepsea, it's a beast. Congrats.

That looks good and I wish I had thought of it, because the bracelet proportions make the watch look ridiculous from the side view and the clasp extension is crap. In other words, Rolex made an awesome watch HEAD.

I felt the same way with Rolex, mainly due to it's size as I prefer 42-44MM watches. A few months ago I picked up my first Rolex - The new DateJust II. I fell in love with it!

Yesterday I got my GMT IIC and despite the size I find myself loving it and thinking it may be the perfect all-around watch.

Enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!

Roger, I feel the same about the GMT Master IIc. The polished center links gice it just a bit more presence than the Sub C. No knock on the sub at all. It's always nice to have options.

Yeah I initially thought the bracelet tapers too much too, but after wearing one for a few mins you just don't notice it. (Well I certainly didn't!). It's a great watch, and it looks great on that DP II as well.

+3. I could never wear a Rolex becuase I felt they looked too small for my 8" wrist. But the new thicker lugs of the GMTIIc and new Sub c make all the difference. The Deepsea is massive, but VERY nice IMHO. Congrats on your Rolex FEAR. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I love my GMTIIc, and it is my most accurate automatic watch. The new movement is superb, and the ceramic bezels are outstanding. Not to get my shit-stirring stick out, but if I'm gona pay big bucks for a watch, I want in house movements and ceramic bezels. :poke:
