Hi,

I thought I read somewhere on here, with the serial No. of your watch, that someone can find out the time is was made etc..

Is this true - can you also glean other useful info?

If that's the case, anyone able to assist?

Thanks

Serial number can date the watch on pieces up to 1978. After about 2000 here's how - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_dating.shtml

In between there is no accurate way to date.

I am unsure of what the B5 indicates, but alot of full Breitling product numbers contain a B5 in them after the full model number (ie. A7836223-B5-874).

this b5 might represent the fifth generation that breitling is on now.

B indicates a black dial. Have a look at the list I compiled.
