Hi guys!

I´m wondering if this Steelfish is the real thing!??!
Seller says it´s from 2004 and it´s the 44 mm version.

Hope anybody can help me! Very much appreciated! :lingsrock:

Hmm... It seems it´s upside down even though I have rotated it on photobucket.... Oh well... Hope anybody can help me nonetheless..

:real: 100% sure.

Bur he has his date wrong. SF (SF X-Plus then) came out in 2005, I think. And that second hand didn't come out until about 2008 maybe. Someone will know. Either way it's newer than 2004 and is possible has repair/maintenance done by Breitling which required replacing the hands. The older style was the circle in a square ,not the pointed arrow.

Date code is between the lugs at 6 o'clock if you can get the seller to remove the bracelet.

2007The minute and hour hands are slightly wider and contain more luminous compound. The red marker on the sweep second hand has been redesigned as a luminous-filled red triangle at the tip of the hand.

2008The hour and minute hands have been revised again and there is a change to the hour indicators on the dial.

The hour hand now ends in a large triangle; the minute hand has parallel sides and is not divided into sections.

Only the 6, 9, and 12 hour numerals are luminous, the others being just outlines.

Available dial colours are black, blue, yellow and orange as before.

You're getting the Steelfish mixed up with the SuperOcean TZ.

Although I'd love to see a Coral Steelfish!
