The bad news first.

My new Submariner LN is loosing about 9 seconds a day. I've tried running it in for a while but still no joy.

So, it's going back under warranty for regulating. I shudder to think how long it may be away.

The Good news though is, as some of you may recall, I had some credit left over with AMJ after I sold my 18ct Chronomatic 24hr LE and bought the Submariner.

Sam has, unbelievably, managed to get me a brand spanking new white dial Rolex Milgauss with my credit plus £1K. :D

I'll be taking the Sub in this week for him to send off :( and picking up the Milgauss :D

Definitely mixed emotions, but I'm very excited about getting the Milgauss.

Too bad about the Sub, yes, but this will all work out nicely. If only we could do this with women.

The white dial doesn't come with the green sapphire.

First off Congrats on the new Milgauss! I was in the airport this last weekend and could not stop staring at the fella in my gate who was wearing the green crystal model. Great looking watch and seeing it in the wild really gave me an idea on how it wore. Looked much bigger than the 40mm case suggest.

The polished bracelet was a thing of beauty and scratch magnet or not I would love to have this in my stable.

Secondly...Bummer about the Sub-C. Although you seem to be taking it in stride. I am sure it will all be worked out and back in your hands soon enough.

The white one looks even bigger than the green sapphire. It's a beautiful watch. My wife has one. I've always told her I'll borrow it one day but I'm too lazy to put the links back in. As it stands I can't get it over my hand even with the clasp open. I think she has all the links out.

Anyway, Ricardo, you'll love it. The second hand is really cool. The orange is great. The only thing it's missing is a date.

The white dial doesn't come with the green sapphire.

I saw one on TRF where a dude put the green crystal on his white dial Milgauss and the clear crystal on his black dial Milgauss. I gotta say, the green crystal on the white dial looked amazing but the standard white dial is just a gorgeous watch. Every time I go to the mall I try it on, the salespeople really don't like me.

I'll have to search trf for that picture. I can't imagine what it looks like.

Simultaneous condolences and congratulations Ricardo

I actually love the Milgauss and really appreciate how much different it is from Rolex's other offerings. The white dial version is especially nice.

Absolutely love this watch. I've been thinking about getting rid of my BlackBird and I keep coming back to this watch. The only deterrent for me has been the lack of a date window (I typically refer to my watch before anything else to check the date). My major conflict is going with the white dial as you have and wearing it as a "dress" watch - or getting rid of my BlackBird and getting one with the black dial to wear as my "everyday" watch.

I also think this will be a highly collectible watch 20-30 years from now...congrats and keep us posted

Sadly not the green glass version. As others have mentioned this is not an official release from Rolex. The black GV versions still command good prices. There is no way I could have gotten such an incredible discount had it been one of those.
