Am I the only one that thinks these watches look absolutely awful? The first time I saw them I thought they were some kind of Jacob & Co knock off. Honestly I do not know much about the brand, but I think they are awfully chintzy looking for that price tag. Kind of like a Michele watches for men.

The models that I have seen are quite limited so forgive my ignorance and quick opinion. Are there any classy looking ones? With out the GIANT NUMERICS?

Also what is the point of having a watching with jumbled numbers? I.E. "3" in the 11 oclock spot, "2" in the 6 oclock spot etc etc.... Seems so gimmicky.

Some of them are gimmicky, but there are some insanely complicated ones as well. The majority of them have the tonneau case and the alice in wonderland numbers, but I give the guy a lot of credit for coming up with some very unique functions.

As for the Crazy Hours... Its pretty silly, but I think its more about what he is able to accomplish rather than what might actually be useful for the wearer.

Looks are always subjective. Personally I like the Franck Mullers.

However, technical ability and knowledge can not be argued and Franck Muller are up there, horologically speaking, with the best in my opinion.

I love the majority of Franck Mullers. There are some that I don't quite get, and some of the current pieces are moving away from what he has always been about and become more serial production pieces which reduces the appeal for me but is a great business move.

And at the end of the day, it's the market that decides.

Franck had some problems with his partner Vartan Sirmakes that seem to be currently resolved so he can concentrate on what he does best: exceptional watch making.
