Hi, wonder if anyone can help.

My wife has a starliner which was purchased in Sept 2010.

She recently noticed that the lume dot had fallen out of her rider tab. On returning the watch to the AD she was informed that it was not covered by the warranty.

She ended up paying £55 for a new rider. Was this correct? Should it have been covered by the warranty?

Umm not really as it could be classed as customer damage but £55 sounds about right for a rider tab so you were not ripped off, Did they send it away to be done or order one in then do it in house? Some dealers would have done it free as a show of good faith but others would charge for it.

Done in house. Thought it was a bit poor for it to have fallen out so soon though. Wifey is very careful with her watch.

Thanks.

Thanks, that would be greatly appreciated. Knowing who to speak with straight off the bat would save me having to go all round the houses!
