 Post subject: Strap wear precaution

Did this in order to avoid a nasty sweat soaked dark looking strap, Image Image Not a lot can be seen Image Here after 24 month/24hour use, still nice clean caseback aswell............... Thanks,,,,,,,,,Hans

Anyone who has a solid gold Bentley can do what ever they want in my book! Buuuuut, a new croco strap is tip change compared to what that watch cost ya. :poke:

Does it stay in place? Do the edges of the "protection" show?

You miss the point my dear Sharkman, always nice to have something preserved nice don`t you think? :poke: Edges can be seen slightly but I don`t mind........And strangely enough it stays nice in place......

I wear maxi-pads under my arm pits so my expensive dress shirts don't get sweat stains. I see nothing wrong with your idea. :lingsrock:

I find it hard to believe that it always stays in place. Unless of course if you don't move your arm.

I tend to put my arm in the safe when I leave the house, the watch generally stays with it.

IMHO the beauty of leather is brought out with use. Sweat and oils tend to soften the leather and the marks they create is what gives individuality to the strap. But each to their own.
