I saw an AT XL Chrono the other day while playing hookie from work...

Just to be clear, when you say "Chrono," you mean chronometer, and not chronograph, right? I'm aware of an ATXL chronometer - a standard watch with small seconds. But as far as an AT chronograph goes, I'm only aware of the standard 44mm size.

Edit: after looking more closely at the models you're discussing, it's obvious what you meant.

I was referring to the chrono in the "what do you think of this watch" thread. That is the one I saw, not the xxl monster.

OK, I understand now. I wasn't clear because Omega doesn't officially have an AT XL Chronograph. They have the AT Chronograph (44mm), and the AT XXL with small seconds (49.2mm). I was getting tripped up thinking maybe there was an XL chronograph bigger than 44mm, but evidently not.

I'm sure there are others. if the following is the watch that you're talking about then I say BYE WORLD...HELLO OMEGA

I've lusted after this watch before -- until I found out the size. Why did they make it soooooo big... and it's all dial. The "big" breitlings, at least, have the inner and outer bezels to break things up a bit.

Seriously???

230 different polls about the World and less than 6 months later you are thinking about tossing it for an Aqua Terra :!:

As Sharkman says it's a nice enough watch, but there are a lot of nice watches out there, I don't see how it can hold a candle to the World, especially from the perspective of someone who made us all live through your personal nightmare of having to wait so long to get the World in the first place.

But....

It's your money and your taste.

Yes, exactly that, I think the entire board was happier than you when you got it!
