I stopped by a local watch shop that recently opened up near my house and saw the new omega watches aqua Terra xxl......WOW!

I may consider getting rid of my navi world I recently purchased for one of these!

What are your thoughts?

I saw an AT XL Chrono the other day while playing hookie from work - same one on these boards a couple weeks ago - and thought it was nice. I don't think it compares to the World, especially the white dial model.

One poll on World versus Aqua Terra XL and I'm hiring a hacker to crash your hard drive. :poke: :nana:

Seriously???

230 different polls about the World and less than 6 months later you are thinking about tossing it for an Aqua Terra :!:

As Sharkman says it's a nice enough watch, but there are a lot of nice watches out there, I don't see how it can hold a candle to the World, especially from the perspective of someone who made us all live through your personal nightmare of having to wait so long to get the World in the first place.

But....

It's your money and your taste.

It's never a mistake if it's what you really want. I happen to love the white world I just wish it was 43mm and I would have never sold mine. Omega makes a very nice watch so it's not like you're downgrading, but I give the edge to the world.

The one I posted is an LE in white gold. I dont think they made it in SS. If so, I'd sell the World without thinking twice because that one is gorgeous especially with the Omega logos on the hands. That's a beautiful watch. At 49mm it would never fit me tho

Dude the non-LE gold is $14K. The white dial model is an LE and has a special dial of enamel with some other unique touches. Figure just south of $20K.

The SS model is very different in the dial and does NOT come in a white dial.

So now hopefully you can appreciate your World. Damn it, you normal wristed guys irk me sometimes. :poke: I'd love to be able to have a World on my wrist.

Looks like the world will be staying after all since it doesn't come with the white dial/SS. :( :D

Once you consider selling a watch you rarely ever 'reconnect' with it. You ever have a girl that you stayed with until someone hotter came along?? That's what youre DoIng to your world right now. Poor World!!!

Just to be clear, when you say "Chrono," you mean chronometer, and not chronograph, right? I'm aware of an ATXL chronometer - a standard watch with small seconds. But as far as an AT chronograph goes, I'm only aware of the standard 44mm size.

Edit: after looking more closely at the models you're discussing, it's obvious what you meant.
