I'm driving 2 hours to the nearest Breitling dealer tomorrow to buy my first Breitling. I'm stuck between the Aerospace, B01 and B01 LE. Can anyone let me know what the current list is on these watches and what type of discount I should expect. I recall hearing 30% discount is about normal.

The nearest dealer to us is La Suisse in Montreal. Does anyone have any experiences here. Our other alternative is a dealer in Watertown, NY.

In my experience most dealers will not give a 30% discount. Maybe expect 10-15%. You have to call around and find the right dealer for a discount that large.

If you buy used, expect a 50%+ discount off retail.

30% isn't going to happen in the US anymore because of dealer margins being squeezed. Still theoretically possible in Canada, but not likely as a walk in buyer. Where you live will also determine as you are faced with import duty / sales tax when crossing the border (or committing a crime).

I bought my first Breitling at La Swiss in Montreal (the one on Ste-Catherine). Ask for Adel. Don't know if he's still there. I haven't been back since 2009. With a little bit of negotiating skills maybe you can get your 30%. The bad news is that you'll lose when converting your US currency to CAD and taxes in Quebec will kill you. I am not sure if you can get those taxes back when you go back in the US :?:

Good luck!

I'm actually from Ottawa, so no tax/currency issues. I'll ask for Adel and hopefully we can work out a deal.

Thanks for the info!
