Clearly the full size ones I tried didn't work out, so here is my other "little" pick up this week - a Pam 0050. I've always been particularly found of this Panerai bracelet.

Congrats Tom...I'm really happy to see that you didn't just give up on Panerai. I also think it was a good move to pick one up on a bracelet because you can always add tons of strap options later.

Nice - this must be the 40mm model. I always thought that bracelet was kinda cool. I just don't like the cyclops date window (although it's not as bad as Rolex). I think they had a model (333?) with a titanium case/polished steel bezel and a similiar bracelet - not too bad!

40mm but sure wears larger, especially on the bracelet and at 22mm lugs..........let's just say I already have plenty of straps. The cyclops on this one is under the crystal which is a plus.

personally i like the cyclops. Shark is this pam 50 basically a smaller version of the 104??

It really wears like a 42, which is why I felt no need to get the larger one. It'll be interesting to see how you like the bracelet over time. It just looks so good on a strap. I'm getting ready to go strap shopping for my 48 but then, I didn't get to Ganem's yesterday so maybe one more weekend before that. Hey, I gotta look...

Many Congratulations again Mr Sharkman. I seem to be saying that a lot recently.

Another great pick up.

The Luminor is a classic design. The 44mm diameter and deep design of the standard model puts some off. It's nice that there is an option to have a smaller but perfectly formed version.

So, which is getting the most wrist time? Your new PAM050 or your new Navi 01?

Having "tried" the expensive experiment of a 320 and 287, I'm quite pleased with the 50. As for you fellas of gorilla body and mind, some of us are more highly evolved and require options. But don't lose heart, your children's children's children will likely get there some day.
