Hi all,

Although i first found this site as i was looking at getting a Breitling that never quite happened but as i like this forum and its users so have stuck around anyway after not having bought any watches for a long while i have just been on a bit of a spending spree and here are my latest additions.

First up we have my Panerai 111 M Series

This next watch i just fell in love with after seeing it on another forum and had to have one so within 4 days i had ordered one and it was on its way to me. Its a UTS 1000M Diver and what appealed to me besides its looks is the fact it is built by hand by one man its creator Herr Spinner and only 200 of each model are made per year. Its made from a solid block of surgical grade stainless steel and then fitted with an ETA 2824-2 adjusted to 5 positions with a 42 hour power reserve. Its quite a large watch but sits really nicely on the wrist as its dimensions are 43mm at the bezel and stands 14.5 mm in height and is 51mm in length form lug to lug and is finished in a brushed finish. It comes with a natural Italian rubber strap and you can order thier own UTS Stainless Steel bracelet which really is beautifully made and now includes a micro adjustment for a divers suit on it. Since this has arrived nothing else has got any wrist time at all and I'm now considering selling the hardly worn at all PAM in favour of getting a second UTS a 3000M Ghost Diver instead.

The last watch i bought isn't really in the same league as these two but is a Limited Edition Titanium MR-G 121T EC which a black PVD Titanium limited edition Eric Clapton watch although it has yet to get any wrist time from me is really nice and joins my other Ti MR-G i will get some pictures of it soon.

This probably should be over in the Gallery but some interesting shots. The face of that UTS is intriguing and the whole package looks quite nice. You might not want to give up on the Panerai just yet, though. I bought mine in March and I have gotten past the "great watch, great quality" phase to the "but it's a little boring next to....(whatever other watch) and now I'm coming back to the great style and "I'm going to start getting various straps for it" phase. Especially since another new watch has your full attention, you might want to give it a little time.

Dogmann,

Grats on your latest editions, that UTS is very nice looking, but I am unfamiliar with them....what price range to they fall in? I also agree on not letting loose with the PAM just yet. Enjoy them and wear them in good health sir.

Hi all,

Many thanks for all your kind words as for the prices for the UTS 1000M it is 2000 Euros and the SS bracelet is 280 Euros, not 100% sure what the prices are for the other models but i know both the 2000M and 3000M are considerably more i think the 3000M is around 3300 Euros without the bracelet. The other thing i should of mentioned is that from the start of your order to its delivery you also deal just with Nicolaus Spinner who is a true gent to deal with and will try and accommodate any little touches you want on your watch it really is more of a bespoke service then this is what we have and all you get or can have and that's it i know of some that have PVD bezels or other minor changes to dials etc etc.
