will you purchase another breitling in the near future?

Hi Andrew,

Your best bet would be to wait for the 'World to become discontinued, when it is superceded by the B04 model. You'll then get a very good discount on th discontinued model.

Until then Andrew Michael's hands are a little tied.

I voted no as I just bought an omega and am in the market for something from JLC, GO or something in that vein. I won't be buying new from breitling in a while. Now that doesn't mean I won't be shopping the used market though :wink:

like i said, they are around half of current list, with exception of a few models. overall rolex holds better, but its not like people think, you dont get what you pay for them 99 percent of the time like most watches



You're using the worst examples of Rolex models to prove your point.

The two tone sub @ $12k is a new model with the ceramic bezel and new bracelet. A 2002 @ $5700 two tone is none of those things and more than likely is pretty beat up and stretched out. How can you compare that?

The Day Date and Datejust are also terrible because of the gold and diamonds. Look at how much a SA with diamond bezel is worth pre-owned....

Also, price increases themselves don't automatically mean your pre-owned watch is worth more. It is supply and demand, just like any other good. Simple economics. You can see that with Omega Speedmasters. When they were $3k MSRP, they sold for $1800 -$2000. Now MSRP is $4050. What do they sell for? $1800 -$2000. People may try and ask more for it, but they don't sell. The market is saturated with preowned and thus their value did not increase with the MSRP

Well that cell phone pic doesn't answer the question, but I can say this - it's pretty f$%^ing nice. Plus I got a "double secret probation" discount.

BTW the AD has TWO black dial Steelfish in the display. And the Chronomat 41 is darn near $9K. Navi on bracelet is $8450 before discount. A very nice size, I like the gold applied wings logo, and the applied arabics really make it for me.

Yes, I am a Bennedict Arnold, but a happy Bennedict! :lingsrock:

Well, i should be getting my first Breitling tomorrow..

Cant wait to go to the AD and hopefully pay and collect for the TransOcean LE. Long way, but im going to enjoy it more.

One that i will be keeping... forever for sure. :D

it's not a cheap watcht btw... i think price is overrated too
