You know my opinion, I love that Rolex and the JLC Navy SEALs is one of my favorite watches, but that ROO is just sick. Go for it, all your rapper friends will be jealous.

That's a tough call Sergio. Difficult to let go of the JLC but that is by far and away my favorite ROO. I'd do it and then immediately start saving for another JLC :D

it is 42. but man im telling you the lugs on the case stretch it out to 54mm and then you throw in the horn back...makes it fit werid. you almost need a flat wide wrist. if that makes any sense.

Absolutely.

I wouldn't need to think about this for more than a second.

Go for the ROO.

You've owned the JLC and DateJust, and no doubt enjoyed them thoroughly, now you have the chance to upgrade (in my opinion) to the ROO.

It makes perfect sense. I tried them on - the Safari on the hornback and the black themes on rubber. Clearly watches for bigger wrists. The way the strap and lug join does not allow the strap to move freely at the lugs. Not a knock on the ROO - I LOVE them!!!! Just the way it is.

yeah shark i remember talking to you about this. i really love the AP ROO too. sadly with my wrists and need to have my watch fit me properly I just cant pull it off. I do also like the ROC and the Jumbo but i know Serge doesnt like the ROC very much so thats not an option.

The Royal Oaks are great too IMO, but you can't get one on a strap unless you are willing to pony up for a gold watch.

i know that the diameter is only 39mm on the RO but honestly with the whole case size it really is an ideal fit for my wrist. Dammit shark now you got me thinking about this one too! first the subc now a RO. im gonna be broke soon...lol

If I had to make a list of the ugliest watches on the market, the ROC would certainly be on the list. I hate that watch! But thanks for the input.

No problem!

Thats why they make both.

No hesitation, IMO a BIG step up from what you have, not a favorite of either of the two. ROO Safari is gorgeous, Panda would be nice too. The AP ROO skeleton is my grail...
