I have just bought my first Ling (1997 Antares World) and absolutely love it. Whilst it came with the papers and travel case it does not have a box.

Where is the best place to get one - I know ebay has many fake ones so I'd rather know I was getting something genuine.

Any suggetions would be really appreciated.

Depending on where you are you may be able to get one from the AD / Breitling distibutor although some countries have stopped supplying them because they end up on eBay. It would also not be a period correct box for a 97 watch, that will have to be eBay or similar.

Thanks Roff,

I called Tunbridge Wells and they will sell one for £40 plus delivery. As you say this will not be the one that would have been originally supplied with the watch.

Last time is spoke to Breitling about buying a box set, they said they were unable to supply one unless I was able to post an old/broken one back to them. Sonyman will confirm this. We believe it's down to a small minority selling them on eBay for a profit, and/or using them to create a more convincing fake watch 'package'.

Are they just supplying one to you outright the?

Thats right but I have found a freindly UK AD who recently supplied me with a brand new 2001 boxeset for £50, However I would need to ask him first before confirming if he will sell any more, I know he had various kinds and that included older ones.

I have a box with broken hinges, are you saying that an AD in the UK will replace it with a new, new style one free of charge?

Thanks.
