I still don't like the standard Flying B either. The Flying B Chronograph though... well that's a different story!

I like the standard Flying B a bit better in looks, however if I were going to buy one I would probably get the Chrono because it is more useful... unless I got a great deal on the standard model. I really love how the higher end Bentley models have the MOP Indexes too.. they look amazing.

I think the flying B is really nice. The Flying B Chrono is even better.

Im with admin on this one. If any of you get the opportunity to watch Simply Ming on the create network (pbs on HD) he is now sponsored by Breitling with a commercial at the begging of each episode. He wears many different lings but for the last month or so it's always a SS Flying B. When you see it on the wrist it really grows on you. I do prefer the Chrono myself but from the 5 or 6 foot camera range you can't tell. I guess my point is that the square style of it that I used to hate I now LOVE!

I know this is an extremely old thread, but I was doing some searches today that led me across it. I thought it was interesting that I also came across this today:

http://forums.timezone.com/index.php?t= ... 6098&rid=0

No reason to believe they are related at all, just thought it was interesting, and shows more pictures of this watch.

It actually looks quite good on my wrist. I was surprised.

Oooh, it's been taken down now, how interesting. I suppose since the article stated it was a one of a kind, we may have found a match! Here are what the pictures looked like, as long as photobucket has them available, anyway.

Hold it right there Sherlock Holmes, Radcliffe is an AD and I can speak for the authenticity of this watch and it's not the one that was stolen. Odds are, the listing probably violated one of TZ's rules and that's why it was taken down. These diamond work Breitlings are all over the place.

Well, like I said, I don't know the details behind that run of watches, I just thought it was interesting. If nothing else, just to be able to see more pictures of that watch.

Guys, let's be careful with the insinuations. This is the reputation of ADs at stake here and adding 2 + 2 together to get 3.7 million and then adding a disclaimer is not really the way to go.

Radcliffe is absolutely outstanding, I've purchased two JLCs from them and they are top notch AD's!

My bad. Sorry for the insinuation, I have no experience with the AD and was not trying to say they had done anything wrong. I assumed that what the original article had said was true - that this was a one of a kind watch. As it is not, obviously the chance that these two are one in the same is practically impossible. Even if it had been the same watch, that didn't mean the dealer had acquired it through dishonest practices, but obviously what I wrote gave that impression, and that was not right.
