I would just hope(other than mucking it up real good) that Breitling does a small change to the dial layout to make it instantly known that it IS the in house BB and not the last model. I love the latest (now disco'd) BB. I have been real close, several times, to buying one. But if there is a chance for an inhouse BB....well I will wait and see if I like it.

Way I figure it, they will either make the coolest Breitling ever made OR the worse remodel in Breitling history.

bronco if Breitling was to release an in house version with the same design as the recently discontinued BB, would you spend the additional 1500-2000 that they would want to charge you? the current black bird retails for around 6300 on bracelet correct? adding another 1500 to that would make the watch 7800 before any discounts....not to mention the price increase of 10% which would make the watch 8500 im guessing before a discount. to me that seems really steep.

am i the only one or do you guys agree?

Thats a hard one. IF I could see the movement... maybe. If I cant see the movement, no way. Expecially if it looks exactly like the last version. No way indeed. :)

a display back would be nice but the premium of the in house movement mixed with the price increase really makes me lean towards another brand.

My concern is that they'll make it too different from the old one, including a Buck Rogers bezel. In which case, no way.

yeah if they were to do some off the wall stuff with it (and they probably will) it would be a huge turn off for most of us on this board. but maybe this stuff is appealing to the newer buyers.

Call me selfish, but I personally don't give a rat's ass what the newer buyers think. In fact, if they're responsible for encouraging this crap as a result of purchasing it, I'd appreciate it if they'd cut it out and stop f*cking up my brand.

:uplaugh: :uplaugh: :uplaugh: :uplaugh: I couldn't agree more.

I love my BB, it's my favorite Breitling and probably the only one I'll ever own. There are really no other models that I'm interested in buying and even if a new in-house BB came out, or when...whatever, I can't see myself selling mine to get the new one and 2 BB's just isn't necessary.

That being said I am interested in seeing what they do with it, I have a feeling though that it'll be the Flying Fish with the Buck compass bezel and the hands and hour markers from the current model.
