Hi,

Ive been reading the forums for ages but only just signed up!

Ive been into Breitlings for ages and had a Navitimer black face/white dials which I recently sold for someone bigger so I bought a new Super Avenger.

I love the look of the Super Avenger but think its too big/chunky for my wrists. I tried my brothers Navitimer World on and seemed to fit me much better.

I bought the Super Avenger new a month ago from a UK authorised dealer. Its black face/silver dials with arabic numbers. Ive got a calf black leather deployment strap and a pro rubber strap with it.

How much it is now worth to resell for another Breitling?

I would think if the condition is near mint, a buyer would consider it a good deal if it's 15-20% below the selling price at AD's. Mind you, AD's typically hand out 7 to 15% discounts on the MSRP anyways. So do not use MSRP as a benchmark.

You can get a lot more than 7 - 15% discount from ADs - 20+ is readily available in many markets these days.

Agree for the US, but UK usually get less discount up front so I think the resale is a bit higher there.

You can get 20%+ quite easily at a good AD in UK.

Especially the one in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Wow! 20%+??! I am in Dubai and the AD here won't go beyond 15%. But then again - we don't have Tax, VAT or any other levies. Guess it works out to the same in the end!!

Then it would be about 1/2 retail as noted above.

I have a 5-6 month old World with a silver dial and brown Croc strap that we could trade. I've worn the watch about a dozen times and it's in perfect condition but in hind sight just not my style and it just sits in the dresser. I may need a few bucks to make it a more even trade. I'll email u pics if you like, I have all the papers and boxes BTW.

Thanks me too, just don't know how I'd work a trade from LA to England.
