Hey guys, I need a sanity check here. I was looking at a preowned Blackbird, and it looked as if it was short a few links on the bracelet. The dealer swears it's full size. There are ten links, NOT counting the "half links" attached to the clasp. I said there should be twelve links, and he says there are, counting the "half links. I've owned this watch twice before, and could swear there are twleve links, not counting the ones attached to the clasp. Am I senile, or correct? Any help is appreciated. (I could not try it on, as I found it on-line)

Excluding the half links at the clasp.
But I asked for an extra link when I bought it, so I guess there are 10 when factory fresh.

Hi, Don. Absolutely 10 full size links plus the 4 half links attaching the bracelet to the head and deployant clasp. The earlier gent's Pilot bracelets had 7 fixed and 3 removable links for sizing (plus the one link worth of "micro-adjustment" on the clasp) but the newer bracelets have 6 fixed and 4 removable to make the complement of 10 full sized. The smaller width Pilot bracelets for the Ladie's pieces (16mm and 15mm interhorn widths) always had 12 full size links plus the 4 half link attachments. Of the 12 full size, 8 were fixed and 4 removable. Hope this helps...
