I traded in my Skyracer on another model a couple months ago, but when I saw it in the pre-owned display Friday I thought, “What was I thinking?” So it’s back. Not only great functionality with the center minute totalizer, but just an awesome dial. Really, what was I thinking?

Be forewarned – I don’t know how to edit pics, so this is as good as it gets for me!!

Gee what would make you think that?? I put it up for sale here, withdrew it, put it back up for sale, traded it in on a new Ling, then bought it back for what they gave me for it.

What would possibly make you think that?

You're nuts but congrats on getting it back. I know how much you liked that watch, I was pretty surprised when you put it up for sale...twice.

" Hey Tim you know that Tom guy who buys all the Breitlings? Ya I know him well he's a swell guy ,he put my kid into College last year. Did you know he just bought the very watch he sold us 2 months ago? "What " NO WAY , He sure did, Man he sure is Breitling nut, Do me a favor call Breitling ,and have them send him another pair of boxers ,and some chocolates.

I see it this way - I got a free complete polish and a one year AD warranty to go with the remaining 3 months on the BUSA service warranty and it didn't cost me a nickel and I just gave them exactly what they gave me for it.

I kind of feel like you , I sold my SOH 46 last year for the SA ,and then that for the Deepsea. I am now purchasing your old SOH 46 From the guy you sold it to a couple months ago :lingsrock: :lingsrock:

I'm not surprised Tom as the skyracer really is a classic. Are you going to keep it this time

I know it will be , you wore it for about 30 mins then sold it , and he told me he wore it rarely so I am getting a new Soh 46 with a perfect bezel

I like that watch a lot... I also like to hear about your purchases... and re-purchases as well! I was wondering though, is it difficult to read the time? It looks like the dial may be slightly distracting.

Not at all - the actual time portion of the dial is pretty unclutterd - a simple 2 register chrono without contrasting color subs. Much easier than the Navis in my experience. In fact I haven't noticed a difference between legibility of the Skyracer or Steelfish for instance.
