I can't wear a watch playing golf. Anything on a bracelet tends to dig into me and anything on a strap gets overly sweaty.

What makes all rolexs ok to golf in vs. Other brands such as Breitling?

Nothing. Most mechanical watches should handle it the same. Personally, I think the whole danger of golfing with a mechanical watch is overblown, but the only way to be completely safe is to wear a quartz.

Tag Heuer make a SPECIFIC Golf orientated watch... I tried it and the strap is great... Plus if it messes up then you got recourse as not fit for purpose!!

You beat me to it. I have no idea if it's any good, but hey...Tiger Woods seems to like it.

Check it out here.

I saw this watch a long time ago. I'm not a fan of Tag but the cool thing about this watch is that the clasp is incorporated into head of the watch so that the rubber strap is smooth all the way around.

I wish I could say I agree...however, my CE I wore playing golf a few times and I guess you can say I am a "hard hitter". I'm not sure when it started happening from the first time golfing in it but my CE started losing almost 45 sec/day.

I think this should be thoroughly examined by Breitling in a test facility. :yeahthat

Get John Daly in there to help with the tests!

Were you chunking it? lol

Maybe its a bigger issue than I thought, but anybody ive ever spoken to has been perfectly fine. I used to wear a watch and never had a problem. Maybe im just not a bomber like you

Speaking of chunking: I was +4 after 13 today. Major implosion from there and ended up with an 84. Lots of chunks were involved.
