Here is the lates response (pm) from the piece of crap:

"Message subject: Re: FS: Breitling Chronomat Evolution Limited EditionFolder: Unknown folder
I sent all staff members and you a PM.
The issue is I got the package with just the breitling box.

My issue with this is I have no buyer protection since its off ebay and you have no references and the pictures were from a company.
thanks"

What?? How was this an ebay purchase? What pictures from a company?? This makes no sense. The first page of the for sale thread has pictures that I took. The watch was never listed on ebay. Nice try asshole. I have disclosed EVERYTHING to paypal.

edit: I do have references. Maybe not from this site or anything recent, but I have bought and sold a few items over the years with zero problems. They aren't all watch related, but you can bet that paypal will be getting everything I can dig up, pal.

This transaction is "Off Ebay" Therefore there is no buyer protection on this case.

Mighty calm PM from a fellow who allegedly paid several thousand for a box and no watch. "My issue..." Really.

Edit - welcome to the thread Breit.

A few simple questions - (1) didn't you know there were no references when you made the purchase?

(2) How can you claim the pics were from a company when (a) he indicated initially the pics were the prior owners and (b) the thread clearly also includes pictures taken by the seller while in possession of the piece and attempting to sell it?

(3) Have you intitated a police report alleging grand larceny? If not, why not?

(4) How do you explain the UPS shipping weight? Was there a rock in the box? Did you document the rock?

There is nothing to investigate. The watch was delivered to you. Please don't contact me anymore. I am handling things.

Once the paypal dispute is closed then the claim is completed. If the buyer canceled his dispute that is almost as if he is admitting that the watch was received. If I received an empty watch box I would be sure to open every possible dispute I could including police report, credit card claim, paypal dispute, etc. I certainly wouldn't close a dispute. This seems very strange.

Buyer and seller have clearly now connected so I am locking this thread and moving it to feedback.
