Fuzzy photo but the sub-dials are too close together indicating a quartz movement in what should be a mechanical watch.

Interesting - I never knew the closeness of the subdials indicated quartz. I always just thought it was a crappy design. Is there a particular reason subdials have to be closer together on a quartz watch?

No it's just that quartz movements are generally smaller.
