Standard Navitimer on a bracelet for me, steel, blue, arabic, or two tone black dial with markers, the 01 is nice but I'm not too keen on the new arabics, no option for the blue dial which I think looks better with polished steel. So the standard A23322 Navi still reigns king.

I'd definitely have to pick the Navi 01. The Navi unquestionably embodies what I think Breitling is all about . . . even if the brand has been straying a bit as of late. The Navi was what turned me onto Breitling in the first place and throwing an in house movement into a Navi case pretty much makes it perfect for me.

I think Breitling is doing a good job staying true to the Navi heritage with their new models. The Navi 01 tweaks things a bit, but isn't a radical departure. Adding an in-house movement to their flagship watch nails it down as the archetypal Breitling. Pity I can't say that about anything else the brand is doing these days.

Gorgeous watch. Definitely on my short list of faves (which evidently isn't as short as I thought).

Being more and more drawn to simpler, less cluttered dials, I must say the Headwind is one of the nicest watches I have seen, regardless of brand. And that is a lovely pic too.

The Headwind is truly a classy piece...the dial is the real the the jewel in the crown, due to being made of solid silver, it's very refined but can still out dive a Submariner...

"The Breitling Headwind is done in the "par epargne" method. This method is very opulent and nearly exclusive to Breitling. The dial is a solid piece of silver with the markers and the writing exposed enamel. This method is done by lightly cutting into the dial and filling the cuts with enamel and then polishing it smooth to be flush with the surface of the dial. The contrast and smoothness is incredible.
The date and day of the week are displayed in aperture windows at 3 and 12 o'clock respectively. Luminous dots line the outside edges of the markers providing nighttime illumination. This chronometer is protected with an anti-reflective coating on both sides of the slightly curved sapphire crystal. Caliber 45 based on the ETA 2834-2 movement drives the watch. 42 hours of power reserve and 25 jewel ebauche make this one incredible timepiece. It is water resistant to 500 meters or 1,650 feet and is perfect for the professional diver, certified COSC."

It's the only watch I own that colleagues and strangers comment on, an air hostess recently borrowed it off me to wear during a flight and show to the pilot. 8)

Yeah, I suppose I'm slightly partial. However, I wasn't intending on getting another Breitling until the Navi 01 was released. My sights were set on a Zenith Chronomaster XXT Open or a PAM 320. However, I couldn't pass up an LE Navi with the B01 movement.

all three of those that you mentioned are great watches. i dont think the that you could have gone wrong with any of them. the 320 with all the strap combos and the xxt in with the dial view of the movement is sick and obviously the navi b01 with the new movement is pretty cool.

This depends... One single B as the only watch to own would be my Avenger Skyland, black dial with bracelet. It´s got everything I want from a B. It´s a hefty, handsome, chrono diver that´s built like a tank and it has one of the most easy dials to read. Versatility at it´s best. Though, the Chronomat 01 carbon black dial with bracelet would be a very very a close second.

But if you mean only Breitling, but not the only watch... then definetly the Navi 01 on a bracelet. The most Breitling of all the Breitlings. One of the best looking watches in the world. But just not tough enough to take the everyday beating that my AS gets. So I would get an Omega Seamaster to make the Navis life a little easier.
