I personally am not too familiar with Zenith so I figured I would ask the fellow members your opinions of the brand/watches.

Do they make anything on the larger size by any chance?

First you need to spell Zenith properly then we can answer.

:uplaugh:

yes they do make some larger sized dials. both the traveler multicity and chronomaster come to mind. both these watches wear much larger than the navi world you have. even though the chronomaster says its 45 mm because of the lugs and case IMO it wears much bigger. try them on and you will see what i mean

Their in-house movements are highly regarded

Yep. I know there ate some Rolex haters here but of Rolex trusted their movements then so do I. Personally I'd love to have an El primero movement watch someday. Their designs tend to be a bit polarizing but there are some that I really like. The striking 10th comes to mind.

Great watches, every one is a bargain! The El Primero is a legendary movement and argubaly the best Chronograph movement all considered. The new Stratos is a great watch and shockingly affordable!!!

Exceptional pieces, but the El Primero can be a little finnicky. Reckon on shorter service intervals because of the higher beat, and as I documented I had some issues with the big date on mine that required 4 months in Switzerland to fix (and I'm not convinced that it's perfect yet). I also had some customer service issues with them.

It wouldn't put me off buying more, but something to bear in mind.

I have an El Primero Class Grande and I'm very happy with it. It's probably soon time to service it, but from the preliminary answers I've got from the service centers they've been good to deal with so far.

There are many threads devoted to Zenith if you do a search. Their styling has jumped significantly in the last 2 years after some major new models which failed. If you want an in house chrono movement, it would be very hard to beat (pun intended) the El Primero movement. It has been a standard other brands have aspired to for 40 years. To my knowledge, only AP and one model of Breguet have made movements with higher beats/hour.

And with a price DECREASE effective this May, the bang for the buck is unreachable by other brands. Shoot even their tourbillon chrono lists at just under $50,000 - that's crazy good pricing.

I have a Defy Classic Aero. The smoothness of the seconds hand is amazing. The El Primero is, IMO, an iconic movement. I liked a lot of the Nataf models. The newer line, for the most part, are too conservative for me. But, I do like the Elite extra thin.

:yeahthat and in terms of size then while they've generally decreased their sizes for 2011, there are still loads of Defy Classic models out there in the 46.5mm range.
