All I would need is this , my croc and a rubber strap and I am good. I find this to be very easy to live with.
Best health, Frank.

No surprise there Frank. :lingsrock: That is a beauty!

However, I am VERY surprised with all the Navi B01 responses. Very Interesting.

Up until a couple weeks ago I would have said the Navi 01, but after seeing one in person I have to say that my BB is my all time favorite Breitling.

I have a pre 01 Nav and the main reasons I chose the BEB over it is how much easier it is for me to read the time without my glasses, and also to read in the dark. I also do not like the face that the Nav has a very low water resistance. The BEB, for me, is a very comfortable and durable piece. I also have a Steelfish, in a perfect world I would have both but that is not what the thread asked. BEB for me. :cheer:
Best health, Frank.

I occasionally imagine that all my watches have been stolen and I am left with the one on my wrist at the time... which would i prefer to be wearing? Of the watches I own, my vintage TransOcean.

But all time, actually I'd go for a Navitimer 806 (a watch i don't own). Yes, its vintage so it'd be a bit of a hassle to live with. But it's the perfect mid size, good for sport and style, has a sense of history and i could probably live with low water resistance. So Navi 806 it is.

Well if it exists, I would say a 1952 Navitimer 806 but no one has yet proved that they were ever made (despite Breitling's claims). After that a 1942 Chronomat would be very tempting.

Of the more modern pieces then the Chrono Avenger Rattrapante from Driver8's thread is very appealing as are a couple of very limited edition 50th anniversary Navitimers (can you tell that I am having problems with this 'just one' thing?).

Of the modern pieces that I currently own, well I looked at them last night and tried to come to a conclusion and I've changed my mind a number of times since. I'll go with the Navitimer 01 LE simply because it's a black dial and with only one watch the versatility is important, but it wouldn't have been the top choice if some of my others had more versatile dials.

Here is the thing with me... my one favorite Breitling isn't the one that I would want to wear if I had to pick ONE. But to answer your question...Probably my Silver Navi World(or black faced with some gold and a black croc). However, if I had to wear one... Probably a Blackbird.

Impossible question to answer because all the Breitlings I have owned or still own are darn near equal favorites. That said, if asked which one I would keep if I could have only one, the answer is easy.
Best,
Ron

By posting just the model # as opposed to the name, is what I meant.
