Tim, if your leaning dressy.. how about a Dornblueth? Hand made and very nice. I still have this brand on my radar and its nearer to the top than the bottom of the got to have list. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Main problem is finding a used one to save a few bucks. They don't seem to come for sale very often. Still, new price isn't too bad.

That's a very good suggestion. I would go direct to the family and get new, it's worth it for the experience and pricing is very reasonable for what you get.

:yeahthat

Good Call Serg

There was also the thread about this model that I think is equally as impressive and a bargain as well. Although it seems to be outside of your size range

Tim, I just saw this posted for sale on another forum. It's a limited edition JLC MC, only 150 made. Reduced to $7250 and it was purchased in June 2010. WOWOWOWOW I love it. If I could sell my JLC Master Compressor Chrono I would buy this today!

Wow, that is stunning! Thanks for the post Sergio, I'll definitely look into it. Great suggestion too on Zenith. The El Primero movement is definitely a must although I'm not a huge fan of the existing models. If the new Stratus Flyback came out in a smaller size I would be very interested.

Great suggestion Scott. I requested a catalogue last year and was impressed with the pieces, the company and particulary the personalized service. They are definitely on the short list.
