Absolutely amazing, classic watch - we all know that I am a vintage fan so no surprise that I like the throwback look, but that just looks so much better than the other new releases it seems to stand out even more - stunning!

Seeing your review on the Transocean on the croc, I pulled my Nav out of the safe and swapped it with my Blackbird. The Nav is on a black croc, the BEB is on ss. It isn't a Transocean but the difference from the stainless mesh to croc is incredible and as the summer months will soon be here I wanted to enjoy the croc one last time before everything goes ss or rubber.
I also went to the Breitling site, Transocean, Made to Measure, and it looks to me that the silver face is not offered in the non LE version of the TO. Can anyone else confirm or correct my findings on this.
Best health, Frank.

OMG!!!! Just stunning. There is no question in my mind that the best look is the brown croc with silver dial.

I put the TO up there with any of the newest Basel models offered by the usual suspects. I just cant say that there was a better looking watch to come out this year.

I am interested in seeing the non-le silver dial when it goes live and pics start showing up. I was thinking the non-LE was a no brainer since it comes with the display back but without the premium, but the all silver dial is just tops.

Does anyone know what the retail price will be on both the LE and non-LE models? I remember hearing the LE was something like $6700 (head only), but with the price increase coming afterwards am not sure that is still correct.

Hi Thomas,

I agree that the TO is the best looking watch from Breitling's latest releases.

I do not wish to rain on your parade but the non-LE TO will have a solid caseback. I don't know why either.

I assumed that would be the case, but per the Breitling website, the Non-LE is stated to have a transparent back. There has been some rumblings here, so I took it at face value, but we all know how little attention is paid to the Breitling site.

I've read a few of your write-ups Ricardo but this was definitely my favourite to date. I really love that watch, just a classic symmetrical dial, very clean with an obvious high attention to detail - love it! Great commentary and pictures, if I haven't been enamored with a lot of what Breitling has produced lately, this is the obvious exception and a fantastic directional change. Straight to the short list.

Truly amazing pictures of an equally amazing timepiece. I'm very impressed with how well the strap goes with it.

Thank You David. That truly is a great complement coming from a competent photographer such as yourself.

If you would like to lend me on of your lovely ladies I would be happy to produce more.

Now that looks classy, IMO, the ULTIMATE combo for this piece
