My sentiments exactly.

Speaking of videos, check out this one. If this doesn't make you drool, nothing will. (Granted, it's the black dial, which isn't the one you're considering, but even so.)

WOW! Oh my goodness, that video alone is enough to make me re consider things and leave my Rolex listed for sale!!!!! What an incredibly good looking, versatile watch it is! A tool strictly yet with the polished bracelet will look so good with any type of clothes, even dressed up!!!! Got no offers so far that were worth taking but will have to re consider some to buy this ASAP and save for a new updated model Rolex later down. This could satisfy me as an only Breitling easily. Thank you so much for posting this video! Never found it on my YouTube search somehow :lingsrock: :lingsrock:

This is my everyday wearer. I just recently put the Pro II back on, but I love this watch on brown croco. You can't go wrong with the CSO. Look at Sharkman... he has two!

Sweet! Can not think of a better every day use watch, at all! :lingsrock: The strap looks really nice on it but the Pro II is for sure my favourite look for this watch. The more time spent looking at these the more obvious it is why he would have bought two of them!

ermm.. maybe not what you expected .. but I have this one

That it ok! Thanks for posting that picture here  Such a nice watch and just goes to show me what great variety Breitling has among themselves.

I like the white dial on brown croco or calf - it just works so well on this watch. Also the black dial is smashing on brown or black croco. But mostly, I wear them on the ProII. I think the CSO suffers from the image it is a small watch, but it clearly isn't. It is chunky even on a larger wrist. It wears much larger than other 42mm watches I have. It's blingy without being "in your face." And the WR due to the screw down pushers is impressive. The crown is oversized for the watch, yet it fits well. It's a great watch and I'm sorry to see it go.

The OP asked about pre-owned pricing - what I've seen is $1800-$2400 from very good(visible flaws other than normal hairlines) to Mint condition(TZ rating). Still you may consider contacting on of the Forum ADs for an out of State purchase. A good discount + no sales tax more than makes up for the small price difference versus buying used unless you "know" the seller.

Very well said! Was thinking the same about the watch and it's versatility as this is simply incredible. Thanks for the approximate range there for pre owned prices  Was considering getting it brand new when possible as a treat to myself due to the fact that my last few watch purchases were pre owned. As stated earlier, right now have no plans on removing my Explorer II for sale because the lack of assistance and assurance Rolex provides me. My only fear with an out of state purchase from down in USA is when the package hits Canada Customs. The 13% HST plus 5% Duties if it applies for that situation could very well make it not worth ordering this way. The AD here with a 20% discount which I am sure they could do makes it cost just around or a bit less than what my Explorer II would sell for.

Thanks bud! I remember this thread. Let's get some more pics out there other than the usual suspects  (yourself, Sharky, mfserge, and vintage navitimer) there's got to be more CSO owners out there :lingsrock:
