Behind the Green Door - Nightclub Scene (if you know this one, shame on you...)

If adult films are included as options, my choices just got a whole lot tougher.

It's an "art" film. And there was a whole lot of "arting" happening in that nightclub. :poke:

Ledger did a great job in the role, and I believe he was deserving of his Oscar. But "the single best piece of character acting ever captured on film"? The wealth of great character performances in the history of cinema is so vast, I'm not sure such a declaration can even be made. But even if it could, I don't think I'd name Ledger's Joker as the winner of that distinction, however fine a performance as it is. He has some VERY big shoes to fill.

-What are you smiling about?
-Dude... I almost had you!
-Almost had me?!?... Almost had me?!? You never had me... You never even had your car.
Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn´t matter if you win by on inch or a mile... Winning`s winning!

Some of the most unconvinsing and worst lines ever scripted, but said by the right person simply genius.

Damned, I know many scenes, but as I don't even know the film title in English, how should I describe them. And furthermore in the translation, it often does not even mean the same thing, as in the original.

My most quoted is from Robin Hood (Costner): You are lucky I did not use a spoon. (at least a word by word retranslation from the German translation  )

Another favorit: When Tom Hanks is presented the seafood buffet in Castaway...

Full Metal Jacket: When the soldier hides under the body of his camerade in the battle.

Kagemusha: When the double finally succeeds in acting like the original and the mouth of his teacher gaps open.

Jabberwocky: When the young hero tries to improve the factory.

The philosphs talking in Jerusalem in Live of Brian.

The first Battle between Wallace and Longshanks in Bravehart (showing the backsides).

The final fight in the last Mohawk

Finding the G-Point in Deepthroat..... :uplaugh:

My favorite movie scene is of the "Titanic"movie .In the movie When hero saves life of the heroine .when she was going to suicide. He tactfully saves her with his talking skills.whether was fantastic, but when he saves her then police man came & think opposite the situation ,they start beating hero.then girl came forward and saves him she was really impressed with his voice & his personality.

Hmmm

A lighter selection...

1. Trading Places..."Is there a problem Officers?"
2. Dude Where's my car? "Dude what does my tattoo say.."Sweet." What does mine say? "Dude." No, What does my tattoo...etc
3. The Last Dragon.. Danny asks..."How 'bout you, string bean Rick James looking fool?"
4. Stripes. Bill Murray. "And then, depression set in...."
5. The Buddy Holly Story. Gary Busey..."Err We weren't expecting Y'all either...
