So this is the limited edition version of the IWC Big Pilot's Watch in platinum, first released a few years ago in a series of 250 pieces with a blue dial and another 250 pieces with a black dial, and the limited edition engraving seen on the side of the case. The dial in future/current versions that followed is different from this version. Platinum is the rarest metal known to man. There are not many platinum watches around!

How do you like the engraving on the side? From this angle it looks like it takes away from the simple design of the watch. Although, I think we need more pictures just to be sure.
