$9470 on bracelet..... told you

Am I the only one who doesn't think a steel Breitling is worth $10k? For the record I don't think an IWC Big Pilot should cost $10k either.

OK, lets look at it this way, who else has a full in house gmt on a bracelet like that for 9400? lets take the bracleelt out of it, who has a 100% in house gmt for 8800?

rolex? who else?

For close to that price? Zenith, Breguet, JLC. Maybe a couple hundred more, or even $1k more MSRP but they're in that general price range.

How does that price compare to a Chronomat 01 LE Stateside? The reason I ask is because at the current exchange rate of 1.6, the GMT would work out at £5918.75 GBP........ which is £1K LESS than the Chronomat 01 LE.

Somehow I think it won't be priced like that in the UK.... as per sodding usual. Rip-off Britain strikes again.

The Chronomat 01 LE is £6800 (give or take) here in the UK, so I'm expecting at least a £1K premium for the GMT over here.

I know the guy in the video may have smallish wrists, but I've got to say that looks offensively large. It also doesn't strike me as overly classy in these real-life shots. Hmmmmmm......

Just got off phone with AD, says 8900-9200 USD in Metro NYC area.

Price doesn't offend me.....size doesn't offend me....THE BEZEL OFFENDS ME.

If so, why did you get on the phone with your AD in the first place?

I don't usually ask the price of something that offends me.

I know I'm late to the party but I don't necessarily mind the look of that watch. The red GMT arrow is a nice touch and stands out and the overall B01 look has definitely grown on me.

However I'm still unsure about that Bezel and although Fear makes a good point,that is highly priced IMO and far too large.

Oh well, at least it's something new and in-house!

Jeez, at $8,800 USD and at the current FX rate, the LE should be £5,500 GBP, instead of the £6,800 GBP that it actually is. Rip-Off Britain.

So as the GMT carries a $600 USD premium over the B01 LE in the states, I'd expect it to probably carry at least a £600 GBP premium over here. Hence I bet it'll cost at least £7400, and potentially anywhere up to £8K. Either way, that's some serious money, and people are going to have to seriously like it to pay that. I mean, to pay that sort of cash, people will have to love absolutely EVERYTHING about it. I wonder how many people will.......

does the metro nyc are have a different list price? i told you what the list price is, its 9470 on a bracelet, obviously less on a strap.

In that price range you can get a JLC MC Geographic or a Diving GMT. You CANNOT even compare the watches, the movements, or the companies for that matter. Breitling is out of their mind with that price.

I agree with Driver, the flying fish has been my favorite since the day I saw the photos. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person but I don't think I would buy it because the 3, 6, 9 chrono layout and bezel are already played out IMO....all of the B01's have too many similarities.
