PuristSPro have been busy - Zenith shots as well.

It's amazing how quickly Zenith have reinvented themselves and made people forget some of the recent missteps. I guess the analogy with Breitlng is clear for those of us that aren't fans of Breitling's current direction, although the difference is that Zenith could change leaders easier because he didn't own the company. Anyway, some stunning eye candy:

That first one caused some stirring!

I can say this about Zenith's current line which seemingly changed overnight last year - I don't like every piece, but I certainly like most of them. :D

And then there is Breitling.........................

That's hardly a surprise, I stated that view a year ago.

Yeah, sorry, the guys at PuristSPro moved the thread for some strange reason and instead of now being in the open Basel thread it's in the Zenith (or B&R) thread that requires membership - they've never done that before :huh

Wow, I'm quite surprised by just how retro Zenith have gone literally over night. Most look really nice (although I'm sure they are all likely to be 42mm or below), but one or two are just a little too "old skool" and '70's for me. But then again I actually liked the outgoing Defy Classic range.

And is it just me, or do a couple of them have really ugly proportioned crowns? :?

Thanks RJ cubed.

If I'm honest neither offering really does anything for me although the B&R radar is pretty cool. Just not into these brands.

Honestly, the new Zenith models aren't doing anything for me. I went back and looked at the pictures again, but for me they had the ideal model and design with thier "open" chronomasters. Pending Roff's conclusion with his Zenith, I will tenitively keep an open model on my future collection addition list. The servicing issues may be the straw that breaks that camel, though.

Driver I was thinking the exact same thing. I could be a fan of this retro look and i would consider these piece a great option for a formal setting.

I'm definitely with you on the Chronomaster Open. I love that watch, but Roff's recent service disaster is making me rethink this piece.
