I currently own three breitlings and I am looking to find out the dates they were made. The numbers on the back are:
1361878
281225
56033

You can't date post 1978 Breitlings from the serial number.

If they are from after about 2000 then they can be dated from a code between the 6 o'clock lugs (you need to remove the strap / bracelet) - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_dating.shtml

If between 1984 and 2000 then you an only get approximate dates from the model number.
