I think this looks great, really looking forward to getting more information on it, and keeping my fingers crossed that its between 44 and 46mm.
Could very well steer me away from the seawolf for my next purchase.
What d'you guys think of it?

I for one like it, i own the new superocean abyss 3 hand which is 42mm so i would think this would also be 42mm. but who knows they may make it bigger, 44mm would be perfect. Steve

The bezel looks like it is steel to me. I'm glad they added a touch of color without making it look like a superocean abyss.

It looks like the same bezel as on the SOII, with the rubber insert. I'm not a big fan of that watch so I'm not too sure how I feel about this one. It's OK, maybe more, and better, pictures would sway me towards liking it but I doubt it. It doesn't look like they really did anything interesting to it though. They just put a new dial, and the SOII bezel and hands on a CSO.

I'm pretty sure it's the same rubber insert as on the new SO. As I say, not for me at all.

Not good.

The proportions of the watch are terrible. It is too thik for its diameter. It looks too much like the normal Superocean, which is not really selling well here.

I will have to buy it anyways, but I am not really happy with it.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree Thomas.

Assuming that it's Breitling 13 powered that's not a big watch, look how close the subs are to the outside of the dial, and it loks like it stands very proud with the deep rehaut and curved bezel.

Really don't get the contradictions either - screw down pushers because it's a dive watch, but absolutely no lume on the bezel so it can't be considered a true dive watch.

Rubber's not for me either.

Exactly. What the hell is with dive watches with no lume on the bezel? That's my biggest problem with the SOII and the SOH's, though I don't really see the SOH as being marketed as a dive watch.

The more I look at this thing the less I like it. Considering I didn't like it very much the first time I saw it you can guess how I feel now. I was really hoping that Breitling would put out something exciting at Basel, so far we have this, a 49mm LE B4B and a giant Chronomat.

I agree that it looks to thrown together. I'm not a huge fan of the bezel, and I think the yellow accents on this look out of place. I prefer the previous version with the day-date feature.

Aw, c'mon guys. It looks good! Yes, it's an upgraded CSO, but I for one have been looking forward to that.
I liked the SO Abyss, but not quite enough to pull the trigger on one. This one, however, really fulfils a few things that I have been hoping for:
- A chrono version of the SO Abyss
- Brushed/polished case finish (at least it looks like its brushed on the pic)
- Coloured styling on the dial

Plus, I think the black rubber bezel is cool. The lack of lume on it is of course an issue, but for me not so much since I don't do a lot of diving. If it's water-tight for swimming and snorkelling, that will do for me.

I'll be the happy minority on this one. I give it thumbs up! :D

+1. I am not really a SOII fan and likewise with this and unfortunately I do not see them growing on me either.

It doesn't look terrible, but does look kind of tacky IMO. I love my CSO because I feel that it can be given a sporty look with a rubber strap, or more classy with leather strap or a bracelet...this watch is too far on the sporty side. But then again that's just IMO.

:yeahthat If this case is the same as the original CSO (which it probably is), I agree. I love the CSO but the out of proportion thick case was a show stopper for me. Otherwise I don't mind this new dial layout, bezel is not that big of an issue for me, and the yellow accents are OK... red might be better :) .
