Hello all,

I need anyone's advice as I am quite new on the board and I am trying to procure my first Breitling.

Can you guys let me know what your own personal preference would be between the two listed below:

2007 Breitling Superocean A17360 Mint Condition with all Papers and Boxes (Selling for $1600-1800)

or

A Professional Series - Aerospace (01-04) e75362 purchased in 2006 with all Papers and Boxes (Selling for $1000-$1300)

Anyways I like the look of both models, too bad they weren't the newer models! Any input would defintiely help. I apologize if this message did not have very much detail, I'll do better on my future posts.

Thanks again

Welcome to the forum!

They are both good choices. Do you have a preference for quartz over mechanical movement? The Aerospace is one of my favorite quartz pieces, although your stated model has a 40mm case which may or may not be an issue (newer models are 42mm). The SO is a great robust mechanical piece in which I own a 2006 model, love it. Can't go wrong with either IMO, just boils down to which one finally gets your vote.

The Aerospace may be due for a service if it hasn't had one recently. If the battery hasn't been changed in the last couple years, could need to be replaced soon (normally every 3-4 years).

The 07 SO should be good for a couple years before service if running well.

Good luck with your decision.

As Kodiak says, they're pretty different.
Quartz v Mechanical
Titanium v Steel
Ana/ digi v Analogue
Lots of features v normal three handed watch.

I have a Steelfish and an Aerospace. I love wearing them both but if pushed I'd keep the SuperOcean for a couple of reasons.
1. I prefer the weight of the SS.
2. I prefer the "romance" of mechanical.
3. I think the SuperOcean can go from fun to formal a little more easily.
4. I tend not to use the extra features (like chrono/ count down/ alarm) on the Aerospace very much.

Of course all of this is based on personal preference, but my 2 cents.

Superocean gets my vote. But then again, I am strongly biased

These are not my pics, but a major kudos goes to the person who took them. My hat goes off to her/him. These make great wallpapers btw.

Mine is getting overhauled and I cant wait to have it back 8)
