Hi all. Ive been looking out for a breitling for a long time. You may or not beleive this when i say i just found this at a car boot sale on the A22 (was with family looking for toys for my son!).
I reckon its fake, however it feels right. Its very heavy and has worn rather well. Im hoping its real, however paid very silly money for it so am not holding my breath.
Im going to take it to a shop in eastbourne which may or may not be able to confirm if its real or not. However id like your opinion. The thing that puts me in a mind is the dials.
the pics are hosted on photobucket. Im not sure if i would sell it or not if it was real. Its a nice looking and feeling watch, though maybe i wouldnt like to wear it if it is real as id prolly get mugged in my area!
please see attached pics and let me know your thoughts.
Heres a direct link also. http://s234.photobucket.com/albums/ee13 ... G_6592.jpg

i am no expert but i thought only the 6.75 had a wheel as a back, the motors had pictures of bentleys, someone more knowlegeable will come and clear it up

It's a fake. The (B)13048 ref no. on the back is for a Chronomat model from the early 1990's, not a Bentley. This caseback is common to a lot of low-grade fakes.

Yeah, it's a bad fake - subdials, crown, sliderule, caseback, etc, etc, etc

Welcome aboard.
You don't have to take it to shop to authenticate it.
It's a very bad fake.
