I just saw the intructions on the FAQ on how to cut and install an Ocean Racer strap and just successfully put one on my new (for me) Avenger Seawolf. Quick question though...should the top side of the strap be longer than the bottom side similar to the steel bracelet like this site recommends? Or should both straps be equal length? Thanks.

I alway's cut my strap even on both sides if possible, same with the bracelets i will take links from both sides So the clasp will stay centered. Steve

Depending on the size of your wrist you will either have even rubber pieces or one extra segment on the 12:00 side going into the longer part of the clasp.
