I don't think you can ever be sure with the the batons SA unless you have full paperwork.

The only obvious flaw is sometimes the lume dots and these look OK.

I would have said gen but defer to BN's better eyesight and knowledge!

Well thanks for the informative comments gentlemen, I have also been in touch with La Swiss, they cannot confirm the Serial # or any history on the watch, in fact they have indicated they will not accept the watch for Service, so with that in mind the seller is taking the watch back from me, I have no wish to contribute the the replica/fake trade, I will keep loooking.

Thanks again for your comments

Moxy

Hmmmm.
I've been looking at this for hours, searching through Chronologs and rep sites. There may be a flaw on the rep as far as the tick marks, I say again may be but I can't find a high enough resolution pic to say for sure. Does any one have a really good dial shot of a genuine batons they could post?

Thanks,

Elwyn

Based on the best pics I could find on this website it looks to me as if the intermediate ticks between the minute ticks are wrong on the replica. To me it looks like the small ticks (between the minute ticks) between 14,16, and 29,30 are for the most part, on the genuine, essentially the same length as the rest whereas on the replica they are slightly shortened. That's not likely to be much help in identification since it would take a really good picture to pick up on it.

It's a Rep. The quarter markers on the bezel are a dead giveaway. On the REP they extend a little further into the crystal, than on the Genuine Breitling. As soon as I saw the first picture I noticed that. Still a great looking rep though. They did a good job with it. No one would notice if you were wearing it.

Which one are you referring to?

Here you go buddy, I did a quick hack job to show you what I was talking about. Those are always thicker on the rep Bezels

On the OP's watch I'll have to bow to your and Bnewbies excellent eyesight.

In my above post I wasn't refuting what anyone had said in regard to the authenticity of the OP's watch (in fact my original opinion has changed) just trying to point out what I perceive to be a flaw in the rep. :)

No Elwyn, to your research.
Now I don't have to rely just on my eyesight with that model. :lingsrock:
