Hi! as the topic says, my SA makes a lot of noise :) When I move my hand, the spinning-noise is quite .. well.. loud. I'm aware that it has automatic movement, and that it winds it self up by movement, but my other automatic watch (Rolex gmt master II) does not sound like this.. It keeps perfect time, and I love the look and the feel it gives me, but can't help feeling that there is something loose in there :) I am going to send it to service, but I had hoped I could wait a little while. Is it normal that it sounds like this, or is service due ? Excuse my English... I am norwegian....

It's normal. Just Google "Valjoux 7750 wobble" and you'll have all the info you need.

Haha! Welcome to the world of the 7750 series movements. And the sound you hear is not the rotor winding the watch, you hear the rotor freewheeling in the opposite direction (CCW) from which it winds (CW).

Where did you get that info from? You obviously forgot to quote Orbita.net for the rotation info. Come on you know better!! :poke:

I had a few watches with a 7750 movement and they all wobbled...when I was driving I would see the whole watch wobbling back and forth and I said to myself "self...this watch has to be sold"

I know exactly what you mean.
I can often hear the rotor moving even when my surroundings maybe quite noisy, ie. tv or radio on.
I can even feel it vibrating.

Personally, I quite it, makes me appreciate that the watch is "working" if you know what I mean, like it has a heartbeat lol :D

Ive been woken up before from a wild night with my watch pressed against my face and a valjoux wobble.

I find that surprising. I had a Tissot that was loud as heck, and you could feel the thing spinning, but my SA was very quiet.
