I'm considering the purchase of a new Rolex DSSD. I tried it on today and can't get it off my mind. I was offered 25% off list price (which is $10,740). I am not really that familiar with pricing on rolex and was wondering if this is a good deal. Off the top of my head i would think so but who knows, maybe I could do better. Any responses are appreciated, thanks.

The DSSD is a beautiful watch! In my dealings with ADs, 25% off a DSSD is a good deal... normally (in my experiences) an AD isn't going to go over 10% on the sport models... they are generally more flexable with the DJs...

Really? That is surprising because I didnt even have to negotiate for that, they pretty much offered it to me off the bat.

I've never heard of anyone getting more than 20% off of a Rollie from an AD. 25% WOW....Good for you man, I'd snatch that up if you really love it.

That really is an amazing deal - almost too good. Just make sure that it's not a customer return orwarranty repair watch - sometimes you drop lucky, but to get offered that off the street is incredible.

It's almost unheard of until now.

It's funny. My reason for being in the store in the first place had nothing to do with the watch. I am planning on popping the question  I was looking at rings and decided to pop by the rolex display. Now that I know how good of a deal it is I feel terrible knowing that I probably can't do both. Marriage is about compromises right? I wonder, does layaway still exist lol

You can find another wife, but Rolex will do everything they can to make sure that you dont find 25% off ever again. Ive never heard of anybody getting that kind of discount on a stainless steel sport model.

rolex dealers, esp in this economy have been discounting more and more. 25 or even more is quite common, but not on the dssd, buy it, dont think about it, just buy it.

I would Triple check to make sure it is 100% brand new, I purchased mine for 7200 ,and it was pre loved for a year already. 25% is too good to be true. I could see 25% on a date just or Air king , but not a Sub or Dssd.

Isn't retail on the Deepsea only $9800? I just looked at this last week and I swear that's what the price tag said. Are you located in the US?
