I have an aerospce with 20mm lugs. I think about 2003 or 2004 model. Currently with black leather strap. This is the third strap that the small leather bands are failing on, so I have decided to update to a titanium bracelet. Question... which bracelet is best, and is it possible to fit a copilot module to this watch?

Best is professional2, and the copilot will fit, if You buy them together.

Hi Alien, thanks very much for your quick reply. The local dealer tells me that the only way to fit the copilot is to get a new watch with 22mm lug spacing. So, does the copilot fit to the watch lugs themselves, or as part of the bracelet? The watch was a gift, so it has sentimental value, although I use it every day in a very harsh desert environment. In fact, I thrash it... hence the need for a good sturdy watch!

I'm afraid that Co-pilots are being made only in 22mm, so you can't put it on 20mm lugs. You can put an UTC module on 20mm lugs. It's no longer produced, but I'm sure you can find a used one. Be avare that you can't put it on a regular strap or a bracelet.

...Thanks again for your help. The UTC won't do the job I need, so I'll have to just keep twisting the bezel and using the chrono function. I shall be changing to a bracelet, however, as I am really dissappointed in the performance of the black leather straps. I have been through three in just over 14 months. I wrote to Breitling about this a nd they sent a very nice reply, which basically siad that the straps weren't covered by any warranty :( Thanks once again, and your promptness of reply.

Ok, I have checked it, the Copilot is for 22 mm only, and the old UTC is no longer available. I apologize for the wrong answer before.
