Ordered this strap from Stonecreek, and it arrived today. I am not sure whether I will use it as often as the oh so sweet rubber and deployant combo, but it is nice to have options, and this will work just fine for a Canadian fishing expedition I am taking this summer.

I never really thought the OEM straps with white stitching worked with the SOH, and initially thought I would go stitch-less, but this one caught my eye.

Anyhow, let me hear what you think

Consider the source of this "opinion."

It's a very nice look, mate.

I think it looks better than the original breitling strap.
And... if you think this combo is ugly... how about your ridiculous SA? One of the worst diamond bezel SA I've ever seen.

Congrats thomas, it looks great!

Obviously what counts most is that you like it. I generally like brown straps on black watches but for some reason it's not doing it for me. I think the strap might be a bit rugged for the watch (JMO).

I do think it might be a bit rugged for the polished SOH, but the leather is pretty thin and plyable, which is super comfortable. That counts for a lot in my book.

It is certainly different from the OEM offerings, and although I am not sold 100% on it yet, nothing to do with the strap quality, Jeanna does a great job, I do think it will be a nice change of pace.

finally, what I really noticed is how much of an unsung hero the rubber/deployant combo is. I think when I decide to switch back i may add a B4B rubber just to keep things a bit different.

Thanks for the opinion guys.

I am a huge fan of leather ammo straps. It is a lot cheaper than buying a new watch, to mix it up a bit.
But, is that a keeper floating on the front side of the strap?

Sorry thomasenlow1, but I'm not a fan of aftermarket straps on Breitlings, and I'm not generally a fan of ammo straps anyway.

That said, it certainly looks like a decent quality strap.... just not a strap for a Breitling IMHO.

I am not a fan of black watches with brown straps - just me. Black strap would look better - just my opinion.

That's nice. I got the exact same strap from Jeanna except I ordered the linen stitch. Her straps have great fit and finish and I'm looking forward to getting another strap from her. I had that strap on my chronomat, however the lug holes on the watch are so close to the case that it was an extremely tight fit-enough to cause a bit of concern. So I moved that strap over to my tissot seastar 1000 which has the same lug width but the lug holes are much further down the lugs and consequently there was no clearance issue with the strap being so close to the case....

I like it. I think the brown and black are interesting contrasts you don't see much. People will definitely notice what's on your wrist.

Very cool looking. Gives it a much more rugged look than the stock straps in my opinion.
