91 posts, joined in 2010 I guess you are an expert now. Stick around for a while things will get a lot better for you KID ! Seeing as you are from where you are does this mean that the women there have to cover their faces too ? Be careful when you answer me, this world isn't big enough to hide from me. So BOOGY DOWN Boy !

I'm sorry for u, if your sorry life and the fact that you have more "posts" than i do are probably the only things you pride yourself with...& i can sense how mature you are by the wording of your posts...

Here is a tip for you...if you don't have anything useful to say STFU already....

Dude, obviously posting more on the internet makes you a bigger man. It has nothing to do with your moral standings or your actions, just your post count.

And it will be my last Un Humble Opinion on this thread (becuase I'm starting to find it boring).

The only thing a post count on this forum says is that you should know the guys on this forum (and in my case you have a bit of time on your hands).

I am here to discuss watches (generally Breitling watches) and because we have good Mods we are allowed to have fun and a bit of ribbing along the way.
When I meet up with my Breitling Pals (alot are posters here) we take the piss out of each other (maybe even each others Breitlings) I do not see any diff on this forum.

Most of you guys I would love to meet and have a drink with. I am not into personal/Racial/religous/cultural comment, I have my views but that's really not a Breitling issue. I want to talk double boolarks about Breitlings and have a laugh.

Let's not get too serious.

Now where is my glass of wine....

Well said Al (especially the good mods bit! )

In all seriousness I agree with you completely that this place is supposed to be somewhere where we can all have a good time, and if that includes a bit of good natured banter and gentle ribbing at each other's expense now and then along the way, then that's fine by me.

That said, I also agree 100% that anything that strays into religious, cultural, sexual, sexual orientation, or otherwise personal areas is just asking for trouble, so I for one would be extremely glad if we all steer clear of those particular topics please! (If for no other reason than to save me the headache of trying to decide what to moderate and what not too!)

So basically can everyone please steer clear of the above topics and keep the overt swearing to a minimum. Thanks all!

I'm not arguing heavy or light, but for me, a real 'Ling newbie, I'm for heavy for a TOTALLY different reason! I'm a quadriplegic [surfing-1972] and when my family first put my new Chronomat B01 on me, commenting on it's heft, I had to reply that it was good therapy!

How's that for a 'heavy watch' rationale?

Tom

I agree with both of you completely.

That was kind of my point. I know some things are said in good fun, but I also think there's a line we don't want to cross. Even if it is theoretically said in jest, no good can come of it, imo.

As for telling someone to leave the forum...well, I'm still trying to figure out how I should take that. I expect it from Ling Man. When others start jumping on the bandwagon, it gets to be a little much.

Wow, Tom. That is heavy. Back when I (unsuccessfully) tried surfing, my overprotective mother just about freaked thinking I was going to have an accident and paralyze myself. Maybe she's not as overprotective as I thought.

Hey, it isn't like I wanted it to hurt. The Blackbird topped my list of replacements for my Chronomat, but having the same case as the Chronomat made me steer clear of it, much to my ongoing disappointment. Not that I'm not thrilled with my CSO, but the Blackbird is something else. It bums me out that my wrist isn't man enough to handle it.

Hi. I have a 2010 chronomat B01 but find it lives in the safe as it just too heavy. So I am thinking of going for a Navi B01 or normal Navi. Am I likely to find this more comfortable ?
Maybe a stupid question as it's a personal preference issue but it would be good to know if anyone else has any experience of this ?

are you interested in selling?
