I had to take the strap to my leather specialist twice because on this clasp both ends have to have a spring bar and it is a deployant strap. So I took it to him the first time just to see if he could make the other end just like the end that has a hole for the spring bar and he made it exactly like the other end. Then I put it on the watch and it was too big so I measured what needed to be removed and he did it again. On these clasps there is an adjustment feature that allows for shortening and lengthening by about a 1/2 inch so you don't have to get it exactly perfect because you can still adjust it as needed once it's on the watch.
