Only if the bezel is made of rubber and the red on the bezel can't match the red on the dial.

I think red and white polka dots on the bezel will sell me on it

I don't think it's that bad at all. The red bezel looks a little wild in the pic, but if you use the slide rule function it helps to have contrasting colors for readability. The red sub-dials are just fine IMO. The titanium case is OK too, although a higher grade would be beneficial.

With the rubber strap this looks to be a very sporty chronograph if that is what one wants (albeit a pricey one). I personally can't wear a this model due the to size but don't mind the design. Also, I'm not really into polished bracelets (too blingy for me) so the sportier the better. I'm sure some think it cheapens the Bentley line-up so I can see that issue (I'm not into the car marketing deal either).

I have to remind myself, Breitling is into 'instruments', slide rule bezels, chronograghs, timing bezels, dive pieces, etc. so I like to see these attributes in their designs.

In the mid-1980's, I think GM said "If you can't fix it, make it red." Maybe Breitling has adopted the same mantra?

Oh, I winced when the image loaded since I knew what the reaction would be. I think they're definitely alienating a large proportion of their core customer base with this new design aesthetic-- I do hope they continue to make models which deviate from this very colourful and 'sporty' approach.

That said, I actually think it's pretty cool looking-- but I'd never buy or wear one, so that makes that opinion sort of moot. I still prefer their more classical styling, too.

I think you hit the nail on the head. My beef isn't so much with this watch, in and of itself. It's that Breitling is discontinuing a lot of my favorite models, and changing others in ways I don't like, all in the name of trimming the so-called "unnecessary fat", while simultaneously introducing models like this. It's yet another sign to me that Breitling is moving away from the styles that made them great in the first place, while remaking themselves into something altogether inferior - at least per my tastes. Whether that ends up being what ultimately happens, I don't know, but the signs aren't encouraging. Factoring out the soon-to-be discontinued models, I'm hard-pressed to think of a current Breitling model I would actually want to purchase, save for maybe a Navi of sorts.

Don't be so negative guys.

It all depends on the color of your Bentley now, doesn't it

Just imagine a St. James Red Pearlescent Continental GTC Speed on South Beach, I think it will be pretty cool with a matching Bentley Supersports Ultralight on your wrist. :guns:

I like it...a genuine racing sports chronograph wristwatch:Big and legible, lightweight and the red color suits well with the racing character of the watch.
