Probably don't need a replacement - the original is likely sitting in the AD somewhere.

:yeahthat

This happened to me and they just shipped out the certificate the next day.

This is tremendous looking. I'm pretty sold on getting a Navi for the next watch and these photos may have sealed the deal. That two - tone dial screams Breitling.

Thanks gents, I will contact my AD and let you know what they say. Crossing my fingers that the certificate is somewhere at the AD. I don't want to let go of my new Navi and commence the waiting game again :(

Iantheklutz: Glad that you'll be joining the club :) And yes, the black dial and silver subdials is so classic of the Navitimer. When I pass around mirrors I catch myself checking out my watch  I think the silver subdials with the silver around the bezel are so typical to the Navitimer one can recognize it anywhere. Hope you get yours soon, you wont regret it.

Beautiful watch, that is a great combo, croc with the black face. I have the leather and the ss but yours is how mine spends most of it's time. As far as the croc is concerned, I had a black croc for my Navi, bought a Blackbird with a black croc, sold it and kept my year old strap as I had finally broken it in and now it is very comfortable. Wish you many years of enjoyment and please post more photo's.
Best health, Frank

This weekend I emailed my AD about the missing COSC certificate (BTW, I'm also missing the sliding rule booklet as well :( I can live without that one and I am sure it won't hurt my resale value, if I ever decide to sell) Anyways, I got an email back today stating that it was a human error on behalf of Breitling in Switzerland and they simply forgot to include it with the rest of the stuff. They'll be mailing it then so I should have it soon and the AD apologized for the inconvenience they've caused me.

On a side note, one of my coworkers in our Vancouver office is also getting into watches. I helped him a bit, tried to get him into Breitling but he wasn't feeling it. Long story short, I told him about the sweet deal I got at my AD (no provincial tax in Calgary :nana: ) and he just made a purchase so tomorrow I will swing by and pick this up for him:

I should work for them

Great looking watch. I have one too--albeit with the non-croc deployant clasp. Love the classic look. Many moons ago, when I wasn't a watch snob and just a newbie to these things, I didn't "get" the confusing dial and thought it was ugly. Well, as you mature and really come to understand what a fine timepiece it is, you appreciate the intricacies of the Navitimer. It's at BUSA right now correcting a lag time issue. I'm in serious downer mode with not having it on my wrist :( And it's only been a week! For me, I knew I was getting it as soon as I tried it on (and I tried on several other types). Hard to describe--but you know it's the one. I can't tell you how many compliments I've received from people--even complete strangers :)

Cheers!
