For some reason I thought that these watches way more expensive... I guess I can afford one now... This one.

Seriously, I know nothing about Breitlings... I don't even own one yet I've been trying to get one. But i don't think this will be the one. :strummin:

Add $600 for a service - probably more.

Are you guys serious? This is real? Is it from the 60's or something?
I could've sworn it's fake.

It's real, but not that old. Tough to tell age just from that but 20 years or so.

Probably 1993 to 1994
"B" on short end of sweep seconds hand.
"1884" on dial.
No "TACHYMETER" on inner bezel
If its model number is D13048, it has a solid 18K bezel. (It looks like it)
Nice to see it has a Pilot bracelet too.

Given its condition and age, I'd say the asking price in none too cheap. A bit of TLC might give the buyer a pretty nice watch, though. It's hard to say, given that the seller has only posted one photo.

Actually, it is not that unreasonable of a price. I sold a B13047 with a plain leather strap on Ebay several months ago for $1000, no papers or evidence of recent service. This one has a gold bezel, pilot bracelet, and looks in pretty decent shape. I have to admit I am curious if it sells B4 auction's end.

Yeah, but was it stopping after 24 hours?

No it wasn't, I did not see that part in the description! However, being an old chrono, it would lose about 3 to 4 minutes a night just sitting on the nightstand, although I realize in those early models they were not Chrono Certified. Good thing, cause mine sure would not have passed!
