What is up with Breitling's insistence on using the mesh bracelet lately?

Does this mean this Chronospace does not have the quick set date function also?

I like it a lot. Too big for me, but its like a sporty Navitimer. Hate the mesh bracelet though, as usual.

How so?

As for the mesh bracelet, I always find myself flip flopping on whether I like it or not. In this case, I actually think it works quite well. Helps break it up from being a sea of stainless steel.

I don't hate it, but it's not one I would rush out to buy.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. With my wrist size, I think it will be perfect. This may be my next B! :lingsrock: Usually not a huge fan of the mesh bracelet, but this really works. This is my "counter" to the raspberry Skyracer. :nana:

Sorry but I'm a bit confused by that statement. Not sure what would make a model necessary or unnecessary to be honest, but each to their own.

Bright red and orange rubber bezels? Other than that I can't think of anything.

Well I'm sure that Fleetlord was trying to provoke a response as is common with his posts, but in terms of necessary, we have to assume that Breitling produces watches that are designed to increase sales and for a model to be considered necessary all it has to do is generate a big enough net increase in Breitling sales to cover costs (i.e. enough people buy this who would not have bought a Breitling (or another Breitling) otherwise).

Based on the consensus positive reactionon here I would say that this model is destined to achieve that goal.
