Wow, I actually really like that. I'm not a fan of the mesh bracelet but I think that will look great on a calf or even a DPII. I'm surprised that they didn't use the B01 movement considering it's pretty much the same layout, but I guess this will keep the cost down, which is also a good thing. Very cool looking watch in my opinion.

I love it and it has a perfect size.

I like that as well, interesting to see a mechanical interpretation of a quartz watch, and this works for me. I like the square style markers as well - gives it a different look.

Cool watch, but I don't like the hour markers. I would almost have preferred to leave them all black, but now im picking nits.

This thing is gonna be a hit in my opinion.

Very nice - I think it works really well. Just a shame it's not got the B01 inside.

I'll respresent a minority here I think: I'm sorry, but I don't like it. The square hour markers would be okay, but the way the chrono subdials and the date window cut into them just a little bit looks wrong IMHO. If those bits would cut into the hour markers more, or none at all, then I think it would look a lot better. It should also feature the B01 movement, and have a smaller diameter.

I thought that about the hour markers initially as well, but then I realised that it was only the metal, the lume is not cut into which would occur if more was taken out. I think that works pretty well, and actually really like the way that the date window integrates with it - especially with the black date wheel. Obviously just one opinion.

I also don't mind that the movement isn't in house - of course that would be nice, but then it would be yet another tri-compac in house - we need to start seeing a little more variety on that movement.

What's wrong with using the in-house movement in more and more watch models?

However, I do agree with you about the variety, but from another perspective: I'd love to see e.g. a model featuring a "cut-down" B01 with only 2 subdials, like on the Navi 125th Anniversary or the 44mm Chrono-Matic.

Nothing, but we heard at launch that the B01 was designed to allow for tricompax or 6-9-12 chrono layouts so I would like to see a little of that variety - maybe Basel will deliver.

I agree the B01 could do with have a few complications now to make a couple of different movements, but the daft thing with this auto Chronospace is that it uses the B23 which has exactly the same layout as the B01 anyway! Makes no sense to me not to use the B01 in this instance. (Unless they are planning to pitch it price-wise for a lot less than the B01 models of course).

Well layout wise I guess that they were tied by calling it a Chronospace. Then we get into the question of B01 / in house production capacity which may well factor in to the decision, especially with the work that is ongoing on the B02, B01 GMT and perhaps others.

Interesting... I kinda like it. The increased WR to 200m is nice. Using Cal. 23, same as in the regular Navi. ? Does this mean this Chronospace does not have the quick set date function also?

The size is probably still too large for me, but I'd be interested to see the thickness and weight. Hopefully more to come soon at Basel .
